Rostock Fährhafen - Rostock Seehafen Sud - Kavelstorf - (Neustrelitz)
(123A1/A2/B2-4, 44B4/B5) DE15/103
This is the route believed to be taken by the Malmö to Berlin overnight train from the dock at Rostock Fahrhafen. It passes the former passenger station at Rostock Seehafen Nord ( which is on a separate short branch) and joins the former S-Bahn line as far as Rostock Seehafen Sud where it takes the freight line to Kavelstorf and thence main line to Neustrelitz and Berlin Hbf. The route has yet to be confirmed from Rostock Seehafen Sud to Kavelstorf, as it would also be possible for the train to be routed via Rostock Hbf with a reversal. Information on routing would be welcomed by the compilers. Further information at the Veolia Snälltåget site including dates and times for 2015:
