Introduction

This list is based on the timetable year 13 December 2020 to 11 December 2021, unless otherwise stated. Standard abbreviations are explained in General Information.

Map references for each route entry are given in parentheses ( ). References prefixed "ERA-E" refer to the European Railway Atlas (All-Europe Edition) by M.G. Ball. References prefixed "ERA-R" refer to the European Railway Atlas (Regional Series - The Baltic States, Belarus and Ukraine) by M.G. Ball.

Orsha: Orsha - Mazhewka (- Vitsebsk) Eastern route

This is an alternative route east of the direct Orsha Tsentral'nya - Mazhewka line.

Fast trains and a few local trains to Vitsebsk use the direct route but most local trains take this longer, more easterly route.

Orsha-Tsentral'naya – Orsha Zakhodnyaya - Chervina (- Mahilyow)

There are two routes between Orsha Tsentral'naya and the Mahilyow/Zhlobin line. The westerly route leaves Orsha Tsentral’naya to the west and passes through the closed station Orsha Zakhodnyaya.

It is used by regional trains between Orsha Tsentral'naya and Mahilyow, but not in the opposite direction. The route is also used by interregional and long distance trains Mahilyow <=> Vitsebsk via Orsha Tsentral’naya in both directions.

Orsha Tsentral'naya – Orsha Uskhodnyaya - Chervina (- Mahilyow)

There are two routes between Orsha Tsentral'naya and the Mahilyow/Zhlobin line. The easterly route leaves Orsha Tsentral’naya to the east and passes through Orsha Uskhodnyaya.

It is used by all regional services between Mahilyow and Orsha Tsentral'naya and between Orsha Tsentral'naya and Mahilyow only by interregional train 624B which arrives from Minsk.

Orsha Tsentral’naya – Orsha Zakhodnyaya - Rumina (- Krychaw-1)

Trains between Krychaw and Orsha Tsentral’naya run via this connection and Orsha Uskhodnyaya.

The only train that runs in the opposite direction is interregional train 612Б, to avoid reversal at Orsha Tsentral’naya.

Some local services from Baranavichy and Stawbtsy do not pass through Minsk Pasazhyrsk but take this line, further south, calling at Instytut Kul'tury before continuing to Minsk Uskhodni and stations to Orsha. The same route is also taken by services in the opposite direction that do not call at Minsk Pasazhyrsk.

Minsk: Stalichny – Instytut Kul’tury – Minsk Pawdnyovy

Masty avoiding line: Zapolle – Kul’shychy

This northwest to south curve allows trains between Hrodna and Vawkavysk Horad to avoid reversal at Masty. It is used by the following trains:

Baranavichy: Barawtsy – Damashevichy

There are two routes between Baranavichy-Paleskiya and Damashevichy for trains to Lida.

The direct route via Baranavichy-Pawnochnyya is used by two Regional train pairs and an interregional train pair.

The second, longer, route via Baranavichy-Tsentralnayya and Barawtsy, is used by two Regional train pairs.

There are two routes between Zhlobin Pasazhyrski and Zhlobin Pawnochny: a direct route and a longer, western route via Depowski.

All westbound Regional services between Homel’-Passazhirskiy and Kalinkavichy/Khoyniki take this loop line which allows them to call at Homel’ Pawnochny. All eastbound Regional services run directly to Homel’-Passazhirskiy via Homel’-Tsotny
