Most local trains between Orša and Viciebsk use this route.

There are two routes between Orsha Tsentral'naya and the Mahilyow/Zhlobin line. The easterly route leaves Orsha Tsentral’naya to the east and passes through Orsha Uskhodnyaya.

It is used by all regional services between Mahilyow and Orsha Tsentral'naya and between Orsha Tsentral'naya and Mahilyow only by interregional train 624B which arrives from Minsk.

Some local services from Baranavichy and Stawbtsy do not pass through Minsk Pasazhyrsk but take this line, further south, calling at Instytut Kul'tury before continuing to Minsk Uskhodni and stations to Orsha. The same route is also taken by services in the opposite direction that do not call at Minsk Pasazhyrsk.
