(Nakhichevan -) Julfa/Culfa ADDY - Jolfa IRIR (- Tabriz)
[D] This crossing links only to the Azerbaijani enclave of Nakhichevan; there is no crossing between Iran and Azerbaijan proper, although one is proposed. One daily freight train runs between Iran and the northern border of the Nakhichevan enclave.
(Osmanli -) Astara ADDY - Astara IRIR (- Rasht - Qazvin)
Astara ADDY is the terminus of a 1520 mm gauge branch from Osmanli. A 1435 mm gauge line is under construction between there and Qazvin, the first section of which (Qazvin - Rasht) was completed in March 2011. Astara ADDY is likely to be equipped with both bogie changing facilities and a SUW 2000 gauge changer.
