(Černý Kříž -) Nové Údolí ČD - Haidmühle DB ( - Waldkirchen)

Line closed and lifted after World War II. However, there is a small railway museum on the Czech side of the border. 105 m of rails have been laid on the former trackbed and across the border bridge. The Pošumavská jižní dráha claims to be the world's shortest international railway.

(Plzeň -) Železná Ruda centrum ČD - Bayerisch Eisenstein DB

[D] Bayerisch Eisenstein station (Železná Ruda Alžbětín in Czech) is on the border. There had been no through services since this crossing reopened in 1991, with ČD and DB trains using opposite ends of the station - a considerable distance apart. Since 28 May 2006 some services by the German operator Waldbahn have been extended to Špicák, thus covering the gap between the ČD and DB operations.

(Plzeň -) Česká Kubice ČD - Furth im Wald DB

[D] ČD works to Furth im Wald.

Cheb ČD - Schirnding DB (- Marktredwitz)

[D] DB works to Cheb. German operator Vogtlandbahn works through trains between Cheb and Marktredwitz.

(Cheb -) Aš ČD - Selb-Plössberg DB

Line closed. However, the planning for it to be reopened to passengers is now complete. A permit for the project should be issued in autumn 2014, which would allow trains between Hof and Cheb to begin in December 2015.

(Cheb -) Vojtanov ČD - Raun DB (- Adorf)

[D] German operator Vogtlandbahn works through trains between Plauen, Cheb and Marktredwitz. This is a very complex area; the line crosses the Czech/German border seven times in this 18 km section:

Vojtanov ČD - Plesná ČD

The line runs through Germany for 4 km, with no intermediate stations.

Plesná ČD - Bad Brambach DB

The line runs through Germany for only 200 metres and then 600 metres in the Czech Republic before crossing into Germany.

Bad Brambach DB - Raun DB

The line runs through the Czech Republic for about 500 metres, with no intermediate stations.

(Sokolov -) Kraslice ČD - Klingenthal DB

[D] Re-opened in May 2000, with Vogtlandbahn working all cross-border services. In the 2010/2011 timetable, the majority of trains work through between Zwickau and Sokolov or vice versa.

(Karlovy Vary -) Potůčky ČD - Johanngeorgenstadt DB

[D] ČD works to Johanngeorgenstadt. One weekend train pair works through from/to Zwickau and is currently booked for a DBAG Erzgebirgsbahn class 642 unit.

(Chomutov -) Vejprty ČD - Bärenstein DB (- Cranzahl)

[D] This route re-opened for a second time in December 2003. DB Erzgebirgsbahn works a regular service to Vejprty but onward travel to Chomutov is possible only at weekends with just two train pairs, one of which runs from/to Chemnitz. The section between Cranzahl – Vejprty is threatened with closure at the December 2014 timetable change.

(Děčín -) Dolní Žleb ČD - Schöna DB (- Bad Schandau)

[E*] There is a fixed voltage change near the border and through trains are mostly worked by dual-system electric locomotives, although a few local passenger trains between Decín and Bad Schandau have been known to be operated by ČD diesel railbuses. ČD locomotives work to Dresden and beyond, DB locomotives work to Praha.

Dolni Poustevna ČD - Sebnitz DB (- Bad Schandau)

[D] This route, closed in 1945, reopened on 5 July 2014 with a 2-hourly Rumburk <=> Děčín service.

(Rumburk -) Jiříkov-Filipov ČD - Ebersbach (Sachs) DB

[D] Passenger services were withdrawn from the December 2010 timetable change.

(Dresden -) Taubenheim (Spree) DB - Neusalza-Spremberg DB (- Zittau)

[D] carries DB trains on a 1 km long section of the Bischofswerda - Zittau line through the Czech Republic with no intermediate stations.

Varnsdorf ČD - Seifhennersdorf DB (- Eibau)

[D] DB Corridor Trains on the secondary route between Eibau and Zittau ceased at the end of the Winter 2000/2001 timetable. Services restarted between Liberec/Zittau and Seifhennersdorf in June 2006, calling at Varnsdorf and operated by Sächsisch-Böhmische Eisenbahngesellschaft.

Varnsdorf ČD - Großschönau (Sachs) DB (- Zittau)

[D] carries ČD Corridor Trains between Varnsdorf and Liberec.

(Liberec -) Hrádek nad Nisou ČD - Zittau DB

[D] carrying ČD Corridor Trains between Liberec and Zittau, this line also passes through a short stretch of Poland (without stations) before reaching Germany.
