[D] Passenger services restarted on this route on 5 July 2008, running on Summer Saturdays and Sundays between Trutnov, Lubawka and Jelenia Góra. Trains are operated by VIAMONT using PKP DMUs. The service continued until October 2008 when it was withdrawn suddenly following objections by the Polish regional authority - which had subsidised the purchase of the DMUs - to their operating services into the Czech Republic. The service is believed to have operated in 2009 and 2010 and is once again included in the timetable for summer 2011.
