This list is based on the timetable dated from 09 December 2018 to 14 December 2019. Standard abbreviations are explained in General Information.
In the heading to each entry, the map references for each route entry are given in parentheses ( ). References prefixed "ERA" refer to the European Railway Atlas Czech Republic & Slovakia, Regional Series 2016, by M.G.Ball. In addition, the map reference in the Malkus Atlas Drah České Republiky (2006/7 edition) is shown in italics.
IMPORTANT NOTE: in the Czech Railways timetable Jízdní Řád, the "crossed hammers" working days symbol means "Mondays to Fridays" not, as for most other railways, "Mondays to Saturdays".

Velký Osek – Sány (výhybna Kanín)
 (ERA 191A2; 23) CZ19/4
There are two single-track routes between Velký Osek and the line eastwards towards Chlumec nad Cidlinou: one (1.6 km long) direct to the north-east, and the other a 4.2 km loop line initially heading south-east and then curving round due north. The hourly Praha - Nymburk - Chlumec - Hradec Králové and v.v. expresses use the loop line to avoid reversal at Velký Osek station. The 2-hourly through trains between Kolín and Chlumec use the direct curve. Click on the thumbnail for a full size map.
Nymburk město – Veleliby
 (ERA 191A2; 22) CZ19/5
The direct line is used by trains between Křinec and Nymburk město which are not booked to call intermediately at Nymburk hl.n. They also use the branch connection to the main line at Poříčany.

E1: 25 August 2018
 (ERA 190A3; not shown, 07A) CZ19/10
Most-Kopisty station lies on a single track route on the north east side of a locomotive depot. Two northbound services are booked to cross southbound trains in this section and are confirmed as doing so, using a line on the opposite side of the locomotive depot which avoids Most Kopisty station.
|D1||Os26806||16:43 Most - Moldava v Krusných horách|
|D1*||SSuX||Os6720||19:00 Most - Osek město|
D1: Runs SSuO to 03 February 2019, 23 March - 9 June 2018 and from 7 September 2019; daily 27 December 2018 - 2 February 2019, from 09 February - 17 March and 15 June - 01 September 2019.
D1*: Os6720 runs SSuX but the southbound train Os26807 runs only on the 'D1' dates above. It is therefore likely that Os6720 takes the unusual route avoiding Most-Kopisty only when crossing Os26807. The compilers would appreciate confirmation of this routing.

Chodov avoiding line: Karlovy Vary-Dvory (Chodov zhlavi) – Nové Sedlo u Lokte
 (ERA 189B2; 16) CZ19/11
This line bypasses Chodov station on the south side. It may be used used by the following trains which do not call at Chodov, although it should be noted that there is no timetable indication that these trains run on a different line.

$ - Operated by GW Train Regio a.s.
The compilers would appreciate conformation of this routing.
Note: From 20 June until 21 August 2017 all trains between Karlovy Vary and Cheb did not call at Chodov and hence used the avoiding line. It is not known if similar engineering work diversions will occur in Summer 2019.

Čáslav – voj. letiště Chotusice
(ERA 191B1, not shown; 38) CZ19/13
A 4.7km long branch runs northwards from the Třemošnice branch platform at Čáslav to serve Chotusice air base, home of the 21. základna taktického letectva (21st Tactical Air Force Base). There is a shuttle service when there is an air show at the base to a covered platform on the base perimeter adjacent to a 3km post, 3.3km from the Třemošnice branch platforms.
A service ran on 20 May 2017, with departures from Čáslav at 09:15, 10:15, 11:15, 12:15, 13:15, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00 and 17:00. This is an event that takes place every two years and this year it is on 25 May 2019.
(Pardubice -) Břevnice (odbočka Kubešův Mlýn) – Havlíčkův Brod (HB St. Tunel)
 (ERA 196B5, not shown; 56) CZ19/14
This is a connection between the Pardubice - Havlíčkův Brod line and the Havlíčkův Brod - Brno line.
Havlíčkův Brod is a V-shaped station: platforms 1 - 4 serve the main (Praha -) Kolin - Brno line and platform 5, at an angle, the northern curve towards odb. Kubešův Mlýn (- Pardubice). It is not possible to tell from the timetable which route trains to/from the Pardubice line will use - the northern curve or via the Brno line and HB St. Tunel. However, almost all services are booked to use platform 5 and it appears that the northern curve is the normal route: the drivers change ends after arrival at Havlíčkův Brod and do not run via the Brno line and do a "balloon loop". Only those services booked to use platforms 1 - 4 are certain to run via HB St. Tunel.
There were no reports of trains using this connection in 2017 or 2018, but the equivalent of the following train left from platform 1 in the 2012-2013 timetable
|D1||SSuX||Os 14886||19:24 Havlickuv Brod – Zdirec nad Doubravou|
D1 - However this train does not appear in the current 2018 - 2019 Timetable.
The compilers would greatly appreciate information from readers visiting Havlíčkův Brod of any Pardubice trains using platforms 1 - 4.

Česká Třebová yard staff train
[260, 270] (ERA 192A1; 83A) CZ19/15
An unadvertised service has been observed in recent years leaving at approximately 14:00 from a short concrete platform, one track further over from the last public platform at Česká Třebová station. It turns off the main line about 200 m south of the station and follows what are shown as lines 91 or 93 in the Malkus Atlas Drah - west of the locomotive depot, where there is a stop. It continues past the roundhouse and turntable and terminates at a platform opposite what is probably the hump control tower. This is clearly an “end of shift” service as it is lightly loaded leaving Česká Třebová but very busy on the return working. The service is not intended for public use, so access may be refused. The compilers would appreciate information on this or any other such services that may run at other shift change times.
This route has also been used in recent years by special shuttle services that run to the yards when there is an open day at the depot.
A depot Open Day was held on 15 September 2018 when these shuttle services were scheduled to run - see
Česká Třebová goods lines
[260, 270] (ERA 192A1; 83A) CZ19/16
Steam specials originating at Česká Třebová sometimes run via the goods lines, although this is not always obvious from the advance information. Prospective patrons should enquire further. Use of the following routes has been reported:
- (Ústí nad Orlicí -) odb. Parnik - line 100 - 180° curve - marshalling yard - Česká Třebová
- Česká Třebová - line 200 - odb. Les - odb. Zádulka (- Brno)
- Česká Třebová - line 200 - odb. Les - 180° curve - Třebovice v Čechách (- Olomouc)
- (Olomouc -) Třebovice v Čechách - Vjezdová kolej od Olomouce - marshalling yard - Česká Třebová
Bílovice nad Svitavou (odb. Hady) – Brno Maloměřice Yard – Brno-Židenice
 (ERA 95B2, 79A) CZ19/17
Access to/egress from the north end of Maloměřice Yard from/to the Praha - Česká Třebová - Skalice nad Svitavou - Brno line is provided by two connections from odb. Hady, one on the north side of the main line and one on the south side. Several routes are possible through Maloměřice Yard. This route was used in the 2017-2018 Timetable period by Os4051 Blansko - 15:57 Bílovice nad Svitavou - Brno-Židenice which was allowed 8 min from Bílovice nad Svitavou to Brno-Židenice, as opposed to the 5 or 6 min allowed for all other trains, and was the only train to terminate at Brno-Židenice, it seems probable that this was the booked route. However in the current timetable period, this train now terminates at Brno Hln. The compilers would welcome reports of any trains taking this route.
|D1||SSuX||Os4051||Blansko - 15:57 Bílovice nad Svitavou - Brno-Židenice|
D1: does not run 2 July to 31 August 2018
A connection from the Havlíčkův Brod - Tišnov - Brno line into Maloměřice Yard is available at odb. Brno-Obřany. Both routes have been used in the past (e.g. June - August 2015) when there has been an engineering blockade.
Brno freight avoiding line: Brno-Horní Heršpice – Brno dolní nádraží – odb. Táborská – Brno-Židenice
[250/260] (ERA 95B2, 79A) CZ19/18
This route is currently used by engineering diversions between 09 December 2018 and 14 Decemebr 2019 while Brno hl.n is closed as a through station. Previous use was during engineering diversions between 3 June and 10 September 2017.
Křenovice horní n. – Holubice
 (ERA 197B3-B4; 75) CZ19/19
Most trains on the Brno - Přerov line use the connection between Blažovice (on the Brno - Veselí nad Moravou line) and Holubice. Some services run via the more southerly, single track line 300, on which there is a regular service between Brno Chrlice and Křenovice horní nádraží. One train pair runs via Křenovice horní n. and Holubice which can be identified in the timetable by a vertical wavy line against Blažovice. Route changes are sometimes made for pathing reasons to accommodate late running.

Brno-Židenice – Brno-Slatina (odbočka Slatinská)
[300, 340] (ERA 197B4; 79A) CZ19/20
Until 14 December 2019 all trains between Brno hl.n. and the Veselí nad Moravou line are running via this route, involving reversal at Brno-Židenice due to the temporary closure of the route via Brno-Černovice. Trains using this route are recognisable in Table 340 by timing against Brno-Židenice. Local trains are starting at Brno-Židenice. Click on the thumbnail for a full size map.
Přerov avoiding line: Rokytnice u Přerova (výhybna Dluhonice) – Prosenice
 (ERA 197C5; 61) CZ19/21
This west to north curve is used by all trains between Olomouc and Hranice na Moravě which are not scheduled to call at Přerov, indicated by a vertical wavy line marking against this station.
Bludov avoiding line: Postřelmov (odbočka Sudkov) – Bludov lázně (odbočka Chromeč)
[291, 292] (ERA 192B1; 42) CZ19/22
This curve is used by trains between Zábřeh na Moravě and Hanušovice which are not scheduled to call at Bludov. These trains are recognisable in the timetable by the vertical wavy line marking against Bludov.
Bohumin avoiding line: [Ostrava– ] Bohumin-Vrbice – Chałupki (odb.Pudlov)
 (ERA 193B2; 47B) CZ19/23
Use of this curve allows trains between Ostrava and Chałupki [- Rybnik] in Poland to avoid reversal at Bohumin.

Diversionary use only, last occurring in March-April 2017. No use known for current timetable period.
Brno dolní nádraží – Brno-Horni Herspice obd. St. silnice
 (ERA 197B4/B3 (Not Shown); 79A) CZ19/26
Last use of this normally freight flyover crossing the Brno - Breclav main line due to engineering works was from 01 September to 08 December 2018 due to JR244 services being diverted from Brno hl.n to Brno dolni nadrazi.
Děčín východ (Děčín východ-st.1) – Děčín východ dolní nádraží – Děčín-Prostřední Žleb
 (190B4; 8A) CZ19/27
This line is common in part with CZ19/9.
From 1 March to 14 April 2019, owing to engineering work between Děčín Hlavní Nádraží and Děčín východ, trains in Table 073 between Ústí nad Labem-Střekov and Děčín Hlavní Nádraží are diverted via the freight line to Děčín-Prostřední Žleb, reversing there. Note that these trains use the 'rare' 'dolní' platforms at Děčín východ, north of the normally used platforms.
