This list is based on the timetable period from 13 December 2009 to 11 December 2010, unless otherwise shown. Standard abbreviations are explained in General Information.
Lemvig – Lemvig Havn
(Vemb-Lemvig-Thyborøn Jernbane: Midtjyske Jernbaner) (1A2, not shown) DK10/1
The line into the main station continues as a steeply-graded branch to the harbour, with a reversal en route. Although there is no platform at the harbour, the train merely stopping at a location beyond which the track has been tarred over, boarding and alighting is permitted here. Services normally operate on Mondays to Fridays during July and early August, offering connections between VLTJ Vemb - Thyborøn rail services and an excursion vessel at the harbour.
The VLTJ website gives details of these “Bjergbanen” during their operating period.
Other seasonal services over freight lines are to be found in Danske Veterantog each year.
Hundested – Hundested Havn
(Frederiksværkbanen: Lokalbanen A/S) (4A1, not shown) DK10/2
Some but not all Frederiksværkbanen train services continue approximately 0.5 km to the Havn station, connecting with an hourly vehicle passenger ferry to Rørvig. Neither the DSB nor Lokalbanen Journey Planners acknowledge this service but advise a walk or a connecting bus from Hundested. However, train details are on the Frederiksværkbanen [select "Koreplan"] or the Ferry Company's timetables. Note that there are seasonal variations
Fredericia avoiding line: Middelfart (Snoghøj) – Taulov
This east to west curve between the main line from København and routes to Esbjerg and the German frontier, is used by overnight international passenger trains and internal IC or IC-Lyn trains between København and the Esbjerg and Sønderborg lines, not calling at Fredericia.
