Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays there is an additional train from Tallinn to Viljandi and back, departing Tallinn 13:33 and returning 16:19. On the 4th May 2012 the outward train arrived at Viljani at 16:07, passengers for Viljandi got off and passengers for station to Tallinn got on. The train doors shut and the multiple unit proceeded 300metres further to a low platform in the sidings. The passengers showed no surprise, so presumably this is normal operating practice. After a few minutes the train returned to the same platform, waited time and departed at 16:19 as booked. This train pair is the only one to have a short layover, so if this manouevre is indeed normal practice it only occurs on these three days and on this train pair.  Confirmation would be welcomed.

(ERA1 114B4, not shown) EE12/1

Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays there is an additional train from Tallinn to Viljandi and back, departing Tallinn 13:33 and returning 16:19. On the 4th May 2012 the outward train arrived at Viljani at 16:07, passengers for Viljandi got off and passengers for stations to Tallinn got on.

  • (Tallinn -) Lelle - Pärnu
  • (Tallinn -) Tapa - Rakvere - Narva
  • Tartu - Orava - Koidula
  • Tartu - Valga

Deletions since previous edition
