This west to north curve links the line from Koblenz via Bingen with the Kaiserbrücke over the Rhein.  It may be used by trains to Hochheim or Mainz-Bischofsheim if not calling at Mainz Hbf. The following trains use this route until 31 August 2016, after which they will no longer run south of Köln.  
This is an independent, non-electrified track parallel with the main line from Koblenz to Mainz.  It is used by [http://www.rhenus-veniro.de/hunsrueckbahn.html Hunsrückbahn] trains on schooldays from Boppard Hbf 07:10, 12:21 and 13:29 and from Boppard Süd 07:22, 12:29 and 13:35.

The following trains are diverted via this route, on occasions when they include vehicles which are not passed to operate through the tunnel at Mainz.  
This west to north curve links the line from Koblenz via Bingen with the Kaiserbrücke over the Rhein.  It may be used by trains to Hochheim or Mainz-Bischofsheim if not calling at Mainz Hbf. Various types of older carriages are not permitted through the tunnels at Mainz, so any trains including such vehicles are likely to be diverted this wayThis should not affect regular passenger trains operating through Mainz; excursions and other special trains are more likely to use this route.

Use of the trains is officially restricted to those with works passes. Smoking and photography are strictly forbidden within the works.  Trains run thus, Mondays to Fridays, unless noted otherwise:
 
From Ludwigshafen (Rhein) Hbf: 05:04 daily, 05:39 daily, 06:09, 06:18, 06:47, 06:53, 07:12, 07:20, 07:27, 07:40, 07:55 and 17:16 daily
 
From Ludwigshafen BASF Nord: 05:57 daily, 15:31, 15:38, 15:46, 16:14, 16:25, 16:35, 16:46, 17:05, 17:33, 17:53 Sat & Sun and 18:02

Boppard Hbf - Boppard Süd

This is an independent, non-electrified track parallel with the main line from Koblenz to Mainz. It is used by Hunsrückbahn trains on schooldays from Boppard Hbf 07:10, 12:21 and 13:29 and from Boppard Süd 07:22, 12:29 and 13:35.
