Passenger trains are operated over this exceptionally scenic line by Amici della Ferrovia LeRotaie-Molise, generally twice a month. Most start from Sulmona and cover only part of the route, typically as far as Roccaraso. The only dates in 2018 when there are trains over the full length of the line are 25 March, 11 August and 16 September. Trains can become fully booked, so advance reservation is strongly recommended.
