From 17 July 2021 to 11 December 2021 there is no rail service between Luxembourg Gare and Sandweiler-Contern with bus replacement.  This is to permit works at the north end of Luxembourg Gare, in association with the provision of the new Platforms 10 - 14. However, on Monday to Saturday, RB services between Luxemborg Gare and Wittlich are routed via Syren. CFL fiches for Line 30 and "International" RE 11 and RB 83 services were updated, in mid July 2021, updated to show this change.

On a number of weekends in the fourth quarter of 2020 the line between Luxembourg and Oetrang, via Cents-Hamm, was completely closed for engineering works, with limited services diverted by this route.
The compilers would appreciate feedback on the routing of this train. Use of this route is now less likely as the normal exit route from Luxembourg station, shared with line 10, has now been four tracked. In addition the single line section of Line 30 has also been double tracked through to Sandweiler Contern.

For about six months, in the second half of 2021, the line between Luxembourg and Oetrang, via Cents-Hamm, was completely closed for engineering works, in association with the provision of the new Platforms 10 - 14 at Luxembourg Gare, with most RB services diverted over this route Monday - Saturday.

This line can also be used between Luxembourg and Berchem (north junction, PK 11.371) by trains to/from the Bettembourg direction. This is most likely at peak hours, when capacity is limited.

This route, which starts by running south from Luxembourg station on the east side of the freight yard, provides an alternative route between Luxembourg station and the Trier line.
