Due to the migrant crisis with effect from 21 August 2015 until further notice the Thessaloniki - Idomeni - Gevgelija section of the Thessaloniki - Beograd train has been a coach connection. The Gevgelija - Idomeni cross-border service into Greece ceased from 13 February 2011, as for all other border crossings with Greece.
