This list is based on timetable information posted on line as at December 2019 but it should be noted that their is no overall timetable revision date, each line can be issued separately. Standard abbreviations used are explained in General Information. For details of recent history, please refer to Kaliningrad Oblast General Information.

[Braniewo PKP] – Mamonovo – Kaliningrad

Broad and standard gauge tracks run parallel from Poland until just north of Golubevo and then take totally different routes into Kaliningrad. The standard gauge line heads east with an interlaced Broad gauge freight only track to join the line in from Bagrationovsk near the closed station named simply 6km to enter Kaliningrad South station from the east, whereas the Broad gauge passenger service runs via and calls at Kaliningrad Kievskaya to arrive into Kaliningrad South station from the west. The daily standard gauge service between Gdansk and Kaliningrad was discontinued in 2012 although occasional charters from Germany still run.
Two pairs of test services ran on the Broad Gauge Border crossing to Braniewo on 5 January 2018, allegedly prior to limited trains running during the football World Cup in June 2018 but this never happened.
Kaliningrad Passazersky south to north avoiding line: Kaliningrad Kievskaya – Kaliningrad Severniy

A Peak Hours shuttle service believed to have been introduced in November 2015 from a station on the Mamonowo line running direct to Kaliningrad Severniy or beyond avoiding Kaliningrad Passazersky. News items claim this service is proving to be very successful with additional departures added on 1 June 2017. In November 2019 one outbound only service to the Sovetsk line was also introduced so please check these links for the latest timings Shuttles Sovetsk line. Kaliningrad Passazersky west to north avoiding line: Zapadnij Noviy – Kaliningrad Severniy

This curve allows trains from the Baltiysk line to avoid Kaliningrad Passazersky and proceed directly to Kaliningrad Severniy. One train towards Kaliningrad SSuX service was travelling via this curve in July 2013, then no service since at least the PDF dated 1 October 2016 but resumed again wef 9 January 2017. Also believed to be used additionally on Navy Day Sunday, see RU19/5 below. Timings are from a timetable dated 1 November 2019.

Kaliningrad Severniy High level platforms

Most services are through to/from Kaliningrad Passazersky and call at a single track platform at a lower level from the following which use a different approach route and terminate/start from High level platforms. Use increased from 1 July 2018 following introduction of new EMU's but were subsequently reduced. Timings as at November 2019.

This branch daily scheduled service runs from the Baltiysk end but the entries listed here are those that ran additionally from Kaliningrad on Sunday 28 July 2019 for Navy Day, [the last Sunday in July each year]. Baltiysk became a closed town after WWII with access forbidden to foreigners as it is the base of the Russian Baltic Fleet with identity checks at a platform named 39 Km, about 8 km from Baltiysk where travellers without a permit have been known to be ejected from the train. Allegedly the general public is able to visit Baltiysk on Navy day.
In 2017 two of the Navy Day services ran via or from Kaliningrad North and entry RU19/3 but that was not the case in 2019: 2019 news item link
In 2019 the departures were all from Kaliningrad South/КАЛИНИНГРАД Южного at 07:00, 08:05, 09:15, 09:50 & 10:20, returning there from Baltiysk/БАЛТИЙСК at 14:00, 15:00, 16:00 & 18:00. Note there were five outbound, four inbound as the 09:50 & 10:20 outbound were three cars and all inbound are shown as six!
Other sparse services
The following lines have few trains (relative to service levels generally in this country) - fewer than three trains each way on at least three days a week - or do not run each weekday.
