This list is based on the timetable valid from 12 December 2021. Standard abbreviations are explained in General Information.

Obscure services

Kaunas avoiding line: Palemonas (Pamaris) – Garliava (Jiesia)

(ERA-E 115B3; ERA-R 254B1) LT22/1

Used by all services between Vilnius and Kaliningrad-Passazerskiy. Note that Russian trains in transit to and from Kaliningrad have no public stops in Lithuania as at December 2021 and are advertised non-stop between the border stations in the Kaliningrad Oblast and Belarus.

Radviliškis station lies between two marshalling yards, one to the NW and another, larger yard to the SE. Trains from Šiauliai run on the south side of both yards whereas those from the Vilnius direction run on the north side of the yards. The maximum separation of these running lines in the larger yard is over 300 m.

Other sparse services

The following lines have fewer than three trains each way on at least three days a week, or do not run each weekday.

Palemonas – Jonava One train a day
(Radviliškis –) Panevēžys – Rokiškis Eastbound: one train Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays; Westbound: one train Saturdays and two Sundays
Marijampolė – Trakiszki (Poland) (– Suwałki) Fridays: one train northbound; Saturdays and Sundays: two trains each way; Mondays: one train southbound. This service is suspended as at December 2021.
(Vilnius -) Turmantas - Daugavpils (Latvia) Weekends only but suspended as at December 2020.

Deletions since previous edition

LT21/3 Šiauliai — Šarkiai — Meitene (Latvia) — Jelgava The seasonal train between Kiev/Kyiv and Riga has not run for over a year and there seems little likelihood of its being reintroduced in the foreseeable future.
Varėna – Marcinkonys No longer a sparse service
