This list is based on the timetable dated from 13 December 2009 to 11 December 2010 , unless otherwise stated. Standard abbreviations used are explained in the General Information document.


Obscure services

Razdelna Avoiding Line: Trastikovo - Devnja [202, 228] (53B3, not shown) BG10/1

This route is used by the Sofia - Kardam overnight train pair.

Mezdra Avoiding Line: Mezdra-Jug - Ruska Bjala [200, 700] (52B3, not shown) BG10/2

This route is used by fast trains between Sofia and Vraca not reversing at Mezdra.

(Sofia -) Ilijanci - Kremikovci - via Botunets or Obedinena - Jana - Stolnik [331] (52B2, not correctly shown) BG10/3

This route around the west and north side of Sofia connects at Stolnik with the route direct from Sofia towards Karlovo. Some trains formerly ran via Obedinena instead of via Botunets (two different stations at a large industrial works) but the Obedinena route has now closed to passenger traffic. This route will not be listed in future.

Plovdiv - Skutare via Filipovo [800] (53A2, not correctly shown) BG10/4

Most trains between Plovdiv and Skutare (and onwards to Mihajlovo) run via a shorter, easterly route at Plovdiv and call at Trakija. A small number run to the west and north of Plovdiv and via Filipovo:

228 (Poveljanovo -) Dobrich - Kardam [3 trains each way per day north of Dobrich]
556 (Sofia -) Volujak - Pernik via Hrabarsko [2 or 3 trains each way per day]
600 Kjustendil - Gjueshevo [2 trains each way TThO, 2 trains each way SSuO]
991 (Samuil - ) Isperih -Silistra [3 trains each way per day north of Isperih]
- Kulata - Promachon (Greece) [3 trains each way per day]
- Dragoman - Dimitrovgrad (Serbia) [2 trains each way per day]
- Ruse - Giurgiu Nord (Romania) [3 trains each way per day]
- Svilengrad - Kapıkule (Turkey) [1 train each way per day]
