All-stations electric suburban services in both directions, and also a very limited number of longer distance DMU services, deviate from the double track main line and run to the south of carriage sidings and an EMU depot. They use a single track line and call at Vagonu Parks/Vagonnyi Park station. These frequent services run every day and can be easily identified in the Riga - Ogre and Lielvārde timetable.

Ukrainian Railways operated a seasonal train between Kiev/Kyiv and Riga by this route. However, the train was suspended with effect from 15 March 2020, as Latvia cancelled all international travel. As this train ran through Belarus it will clearly not resume.
