For each country in the Guide, there are three sections:
- General Information about the country and its railway systems
- information on lines with Obscure or Sparse passenger services
- information on Border Crossings, including electrification details
It is suggested that you read the General Information first to gain an understanding of what the Guide offers; or select one of the following:
Europe's railways are significantly affected by the coronavirus epidemic and many governments have placed severe restrictions on travel. This website continues to show train services that would normally be operating, but a modified timetable, with fewer trains, is in operation in many countries. Most international services are temporarily withdrawn.
A summary of arrangements in each country can be found at Rail Guide Europe. In a fast-changing situation, the compilers do not undertake that this information is complete or correct.
