[Braniewo PKP] – Mamonovo – Kaliningrad

The standard gauge cross border line from Poland takes a totally different route from the Broad Gauge RŽD Mamonovo line between a junction to the north of Golubevo and Kaliningrad. The standard gauge line runs into the east end of Kaliningrad station, whereas the broad gauge route runs into the west end. The daily standard gauge service between Gdansk and Kaliningrad has been discontinued although occasional charters still run.

This curve allows trains from the Baltiysk line to avoid Kaliningrad Passazersky and proceed directly to Kaliningrad Severniy
