Introduction
This list is based on the timetable dated from 12 December 2010 to 10 December 2011, unless otherwise stated. Standard abbreviations are explained in General Information.
Obscure services
[44] (52A3 not shown, ERA 102C3) RS11/1
There are two possible routes for long distance trains between the main station at Beograd and the Pančevo line bridge over the Dunav (Danube) river:
- if diesel-hauled: initially propelled for a short distance out of Beograd station, then via the Sava riverbank line to the west and north of the city and the former Pančevo line terminus at Beograd Dunav;
- if electrically-hauled: initially heading westwards over the older Sava river bridge to a reversal at Novi Beograd station, then via the newer Sava river bridge and the suburban tunnel routes via Beograd Centar.
Similar arrangements are followed in the opposite direction.
This applies to the following trains:-
361 | 15:50 Beograd - Bucureşti Nord
360 | Bucureşti Nord - 08:13 Pančevo glavna st. - Beograd |
The following trains only use the section of line between Beograd Dunav station and the junction at Pančevački Most:-
2501 | Kikinda - 08:58 Krnjača - Beograd Dunav
2514 | 11:26 Beograd Dunav - Zrenjanin |
Notes:-
- The route between Novi Beograd and Pančevački Most via Beograd Centar sees a regular service of electric multiple unit trains marketed as BG Voz/BG Train.
- Most of the outer suburban Beovoz trains to or from the Pančevo glavna st. direction that terminate at or start from Pančevački Most use a side platform there, on the single line to Beograd Dunav, labelled Dunavski Kolosek or Dunavski Peron.
Golubinci - Inđija
[10, 30] (52A3, ERA 102C2 & 107B1) RS11/2
This curve connecting the Beograd - Šid and Beograd - Novi Sad lines has a very restricted service.
4200 | Novi Sad - 02:05 Inđija - Šid
4201 | Šid - 05:50 Golubinci - Novi Sad |
Karađorđev Park - Rakovica (Rasputnica Dedinje)
[54] (52A3 not shown, ERA 10 2C3 not shown) RS11/3
This section of the Beovoz Beograd suburban network, forming the third side of a triangular junction bypassing Beograd Centar station, has a very limited service compared with the other routes. For details of trains, go to the Serbian Railways website, click the Beovoz tab, select the desired "from" and "to" stations by clicking on the station names on the map provided, then click "Search".
Niš – Niš ranžirna – Crveni Krst
[91] (52B3 not correctly shown) RS11/4
Niš ranžirna is a freight yard to the west of Niš, and is connected to both the Niš - Beograd and Niš - Skopje lines via triangular junctions.
When a full printed timetable was available, Table 91 showed trains with timings at Niš ranžirna. These ran from Niš via the east to north curve off the Skopje line, called at the freight yard station at Niš ranžirna, then ran via the south to east curve to Crveni Krst then onwards to Niš, performing an anti-clockwise loop. Though these trains were clearly intended for members of staff, no objection was raised to other passengers using them.
Though no longer generally advertised, these trains still appear to run: an 18:30 departure from Niš was observed on 13 September 2011.
Other sparse services
The following lines have few trains (relative to service levels generally in this country) - fewer than three trains each way on at least three days a week - or do not run each weekday:
21 | Novi Sad - Odžaci |
34 | Horgoš - Kanjiža |
45 | Mala Krsna - Požarevac |
60 | Raška - Lešak - Zvečan (Kosovo) |
80 | Niš - Dimitrovgrad |
A/G | Subotica - Kelebia (Hungary) |
I | Kikinda - Jimbolia (Romania) |
J | Vršac - Stamora Moravita (Romania) |
K | Dimitrovgrad - Dragoman (Bulgaria) |
