Introduction
This list is based on the timetable dated from 11 December 2016 to 9 December 2017, unless otherwise shown. Standard abbreviations are explained in General Information.
IMPORTANT NOTE: in the Slovak Railways timetable (Cestovný poriadok), the "crossed hammers" working days symbol means "Mondays to Fridays" not, as for most other railways, "Mondays to Saturdays".
Obscure services
In the heading to each entry, the map reference for the line in the European Railway Atlas 2016 published by M.G. Ball is shown.
Bratislava-Rača - odbočka Vinohrady - Bratislava predmestie - Bratislava Nové Mesto
[120] (ERA 205C1) SK17/1
A small number of services on the Bratislava - Trnava route run to Bratislava-Nové Mesto rather than Bratislava hlavná stanica: they are clearly marked in table 120. Interestingly, this route contains the only burrowing (flying) junction used by passenger services in Slovakia. Click on the thumbnail for a full size map.

Čierna nad Tisou – Čop (Ukraine)
[190] (ERA 202C1-C2) SK17/5
This international route and the station area at Čop are dual gauge 1435/1520 mm. Public passenger services (2 return journeys daily) are 1435 mm gauge, operated by ŽSR. Cross border freight traffic uses both gauges are there are 1520 mm gauge tracks to and from the gauge-changing and transfer facilities in the Čierna nad Tisou area.

8863 | 16:45 Čop - Čierna nad Tisou (arr 17:40) |
As well as the public passenger trains, ŽSR is thought to operate unadvertised staff trains on this route. Whilst they most probably run on the 1435 mm gauge lines, the service utilizes a former class 810.8 railcar and there is a slight possibility this runs on the 1520 mm gauge lines from Čierna nad Tisou yard. No confirmation of this has been received in recent years, so this information will be deleted in December 2017 unless a report is received. Although visas are no longer required for Ukraine, these railcar trains are provided for railway staff and border control staff may not permit members of the public to cross the border. They may also use non-passenger locations in both Čierna nad Tisou and Čop.
Žilina – Žilina-Teplička
(ERA 200A3) SK17/6
What are presumably staff trains run to and from the marshalling yards east of Žilina. These probably use the flyover east of Žilina and the goods lines. The compilers would greatly appreciate any information on the routes used by these trains.
