Schedules indicate certain trains between Le Havre and Paris St. Lazare are diverted this way on Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings on 1, 2, 15, 16, 22 & 23 April, 6, 7, 13 & 14 May, 3, 4, 24 & 25 June, 8 & 9 July and 12 & 13 August. There are other days when some trains are scheduled 2 hrs 12 mins between Paris and Rouen, but it is not certain whether they use this route.

This curve provides a direct connection between Coutances and Granville. Since 9 December 2018 all trains south of Coutances take this curve and call at Granville, rather than using the former route to Folligny which now has no service.
