Introduction

This list is based on the timetable valid from 15 December 2019. Standard abbreviations are explained in General Information.

Map references for each route entry are given in parentheses ( ). References prefixed "ERA" refer to the European Railway Atlas Baltic States, Belarus & Ukraine, Regional Series 2017, by M.G.Ball.

Obscure services

Kaunas avoiding line: Palemonas (Pamaris) – Garliava (Jiesia)

Used by all services between Vilnius and Kaliningrad-Passazerskiy.

Radviliškis

Radviliškis station lies between two marshalling yards, one to the NW and another, larger yard to the SE. Trains from Šiauliai run on the south side of both yards whereas those from the Vilnius direction run on the north side of the yards. The maximum separation of these running lines in the larger yard is over 300 m.

The following lines have fewer than three trains each way on at least three days a week, or do not run each weekday.

(Radviliškis –) Panevēžys – Rokiškis One train each way
(Kaunas –) Palemonas – Jonava (– Šiauliai) This ran on Fridays and Sundays only but appears to be suspended as at December 2019.
Marijampolė – Trakiszki (Poland) (– Suwałki) Fridays: one train northbound; Saturdays and Sundays: two trains each way; Mondays: one train southbound
(Vilnius -) Turmantas - Daugavpils (Latvia) Weekends only
