Ljubljana Polje (Ljubljana Moste) – BTC City Ljubljana

BTC City is a large shopping centre and entertainment complex in Ljubljana, with a station part way up a 1 km branch off the main line to Zidani Most. Trains run between Ljubljana and BTC City, reversing in the yard at Ljubljana Moste and not calling at Ljubljana Polje. The service operates on Mondays to Saturdays, with a journey time of 21 minutes.
- From Ljubljana: 08:20, 11:40, 14:05, 17:35, 19:52
- From BTC City Ljubljana: 09:00, 12:34, 14:35, 18:04, 21:20
Trains to BTC City are not shown on departure sheets at Ljubljana station, but are displayed on the main departure indicator. The evening working is for visitors to the casino, cinema and other facilities. It is possible to return direct to the city centre on bus 27, which also serves BTC City. Škofja Loka "avoiding line" (km 585.5 – km 586.8)

This line, from the south end of the station avoiding the platforms and taking a more direct course northwards, is normally used by trains not booked to call at this station.

Note: in the 2009/2010 timetable, contrary to the indication in the SŽ on-line timetable, train 3892 was formed of a locomotive and coaches. After calling at Pragersko station, in order to avoid running round there, the train propelled back to the northern junction of the triangle, then reversed again to traverse the avoiding line. Information on the present arrangements would be welcomed.
