This list is based on the timetable in force from 14 December 2014 until 12 December 2015, unless otherwise stated. Standard abbreviations are explained in General Information.
In the heading to each entry the map reference for the line in the Schweers+Wall Eisenbahn Atlas (2007/2008 edition) is shown, in italic, in addition to the reference to M.G. Ball's European Railway Atlas.

Mainz avoiding line: Mainz-Mombach – Wiesbaden Ost/Mainz-Bischofsheim (Abzw Kaiserbrücke)

This west to north curve provides a connection between the main line from Koblenz via Bingen and the Mainzer Kaiserbrücke over the Rhein between Mainz and Wiesbaden.

Ludwigshafen (Rhein) Hbf – Ludwigshafen BASF Nord

Various trains to/from Ludwigshafen operate to/from the BASF chemical works. There are three halts, Süd, Mitte and Nord, within the BASF works. Use of the trains is officially restricted to those with works passes. Smoking and photography are strictly forbidden within the works. Trains run thus, Mondays to Fridays, unless noted otherwise:
From Ludwigshafen (Rhein) Hbf: 04:56 daily, 06:09, 06:28, 06:44, 06:52, 06:58, 07:12, 07:19, 07:27, 07:40, 07:55 and 17:13 daily
From Ludwigshafen BASF Nord: 05:57 daily, 15:05, 15:31, 15:38, 15:46, 16:11, 16:25, 16:38, 16:46, 16:53, 17:31, 17:53 Sat & Sun, 18:02
Journey time between Ludwigshafen (Rhein) Hbf and Ludwigshafen BASF Nord is 11 or 12 minutes. Some trains run through to and from Germersheim, Kaiserslautern, Wörth (Rhein) and other local destinations. Full timings are available from the DB Journey Planner: see General Information: Timetable.
Ludwigshafen west curve: Ludwigshafen-Oggersheim (Überleitung Nord) – Ludwigshafen-Mundenheim

This curve, via the low level west side platforms 6 to 9 at Ludwigshafen (Rhein) Hbf, is used by through trains between the Frankenthal and Schifferstadt lines. There is an RE service between Mainz and Karlsruhe via Germersheim every two hours for most of the day.
Schifferstadt avoiding line: Limburgerhof (Limburgerhof Abzw.) – Böhl-Iggelheim (Böhl-Iggelheim Abzw.)

This line is used by trains between Mannheim/Ludwigshafen and Neustadt (Weinstraße)/Kaiserslautern not calling at Schifferstadt.
Enkenbach – Kaiserslautern Hbf (via Eselsfürth)

This line is used by those trains between Enkenbach and Kaiserslautern Hbf which are not booked to call at Hochspeyer, which is most of them. The service between Hochspeyer and Enkenbach is quite sparse.

This east to north curve links the Neustadt (Weinstraße) and Bingen (Rhein) lines east of Hochspeyer.
